The AED-201 is designed according to the updated CPR guidelines of the American Heart Association (AHA) and offers advanced features for effective emergency care. It provides automatic ECG analysis and advice on delivering an electric shock, with a three-step defibrillation process. The device is easy to use, featuring two-button operation and extensive voice and visual prompts for the operator. It uses a biphasic energy output with a truncated exponential waveform for efficient shock delivery. The AED-201 includes lock-out protection to prevent accidental defibrillation.
 
It is suitable for use in homes, public places, and other emergency settings for first aid and emergency treatment. The device is powered by a non-rechargeable LiMnO2 battery and includes automatic self-testing to ensure readiness. An optional AED container is available for stand installation or wall mounting, and event review can be done via an optional PC-based system.
